While it was a pity that we didn’t get to enjoy the recreational facilities at Vincom Mega Mall Royal City because of the maintenance work and renovations, it wasn’t a wasted trip either because if we hadn’t been there, we wouldn’t have discovered this amazing bakery.
I love bread. Nothing else excites me as much as freshly baked breads! ?

Just look for Tower R3 when at VMMRC. The bakery is located next to the main entrance.
Tous Les Jours is a South Korean bakery chain that serves up Asian-French delights – breads, pastries and cakes. It has more than 1,300 outlets in Asia and USA but there’s none in Singapore – how is this possible?! So disappointing. ?
Tantalising cake selections. So prettily made.
Seriously, we had a hard time choosing what we wanted because everything looked tempting.
If calories were non-existent and stomach space was boundless, I would have ordered one of every item, lol.
Hubby ordered the Black Coffee (30,000VND) which was ordinary.
I had a Tropical Ice Tea (45,000VND) which was very cold and refreshing. I liked the big cubes of fruits that really gave textures to the drink and also added extra natural sweetness. What would be a better way than this to have more Vitamin C in an iced tea? 😉
Our first round of order included (from left in a clockwise direction) the Pain Au Cranberry (17,000VND), Custard Pastry (12,000VND) and White Twist (22,000VND). The pastries were warm and fresh with buttery, flaky layers. Custard didn’t taste artificial and wasn’t too sweet or cloying too. My favourite was the White Twist which was a fried twist donut coated in this snow-like, fluffy white chocolate. Oh man – out of this world – delicious beyond words, really.
We were so impressed by the quality of the breads that we couldn’t resist a second round, lol. This was Meat Noodle Croquette (25,000VND) which was basically fried bread (like donut) filled with savoury noodles. Delicious filling in a fluffy bun with a nice crispy crust. Fresh tasting oil. Highly recommended!
The Spicy Dry Pork Focaccia (24,000VND) blew us away as well. The focaccia bread itself was very fragrant, tasted a little buttery but it wasn’t greasy. The combination of cheese and floss on top was yummy!
If you love bread and are always on the lookout for a good bakery, check out this place when in Hanoi. Best breads I had eaten in a long while. ??
Tous Les Jours Bakery, please open an outlet in Singapore soon!
