One ex-colleague introduced me to Sun with Moon. I had always thought this was a upmarket Japanese dining place and even though the restaurant ambience did look posh, the prices were still affordable for good authentic Japanese food.
Sashimi Mori (2 pax)
The waitress mistook our order and gave us Sashimi Mori for 2 persons when what I ordered was meant for one person. We didn’t know this was a 2-pax portion until the bill came. The waitress who made the mistake insisted that we had to pay as it was already served and consumed but I disputed all the way as we should not be penalised for her mistake made. The restaurant manager understood and gladly waived off the cost for this sashimi so we got this for free in the end. We were definitely pleased and would certainly return to dine again. Excellent customer service. Thumbs up.
Collagen Hot Pot
Presentation was a plus. The soup came in a ceramic pot on top of a burner to keep it boiling hot. The service staff then added a ball of jelly-like collagen which almost disappeared into the soup instantly. The essence from the tofu, mushrooms, radish, cabbage and of course collagen in the soup would probably make our complexion sparkle. With this psychological mindset, we couldn’t help but finished the entire pot! It smelled so good, it tasted so good, we felt so good too! Thumbs up!
Okonomiyaki
Pan fried to perfection. Slightly crispy on the outside and soft in the inside but a bit dry. Will probably try other items when I return next time.
