I made this Smoked Salmon Salad during one of the festive dinner parties I hosted a few months back and all of my guests loved it. Not because the smoked salmon (store-bought), vegetables (raw) or olives (pickled) were fantastic but because they enjoyed the smooth and nutty dressing that came with the salad. Lol.
So unexpectedly, I became a ‘promoter’ for Kewpie’s new Roasted Sesame Dressing that I bought from Tesco supermarket in Malaysia at about S$3.40 per bottle because it wasn’t available in Singapore then. But…last weekend, I was at the Giant Super at Bishan Street 13 and I saw this same dressing (S$5.80) being sold in store. So anyone in Singapore who’s interested to try this product can make your purchase at Giant.
This is not exactly a recipe post as I only dressed up the salad with no cooking required. And here are the ingredients that went into this beautiful plate of greens –
Smoked Salmon Salad with Kewpie’s Roasted Sesame Dressing
Ingredients (serves 6)
200g smoked salmon
250g mesclun salad
1 Japanese cucumber, sliced
250g cherry tomatoes
handful of pickled green & black olives
Kewpie Roasted Sesame Dressing
Instructions
Just assemble the salad in any way that you fancy and enjoy! 🙂
