Update Jan 2023: OYE has ceased operation.
Came by Waterway Point for a rest break when I was midway through my run as the weather was just too hot. Wanted to grab a shake at Mr. Coconut initially but I changed my mind when I spotted this new al fresco smoothie & juice bar, OYE Singapore.
I recalled this was formerly Taiwanese bubble tea chain, Ji Long Tang or JLD Dragon. Not sure if JLD had rebranded or was taken over by this new brand but when I was making payment, I did notice one of their digital modes of payments was still made to JLD.
There was a collaboration between OYE Singapore and another Taiwanese bubble tea chain, Xing Fu Tang. Thus, besides serving up coconut slushies, they also had Xing Fu Tang’s signature bubble teas.
Casual, laid-back beachy vibe
Love this place as they have this really cool and chill beach vibe. It’s just next to the waterway so we can enjoy a good view. Pretty relaxing to sit here and watch the world go by. With a cup of icy cold, refreshing coconut slushie of course!
OYE Singapore specialises in coconut slushies and juices – in original form and flavoured versions – with a couple of different toppings to choose from. Their coconut slushies are all made from real coconuts with no sugar added. Besides that, there are also refreshing teas and fresh milk teas for non-coconut lovers.

I was here on the weekend when they had this launch promo i.e. with any drink purchase and a follow on their Instagram page, we could get a FREE Baby Sippy (small coconut slushie) worth $2.80.
Peach, Please! $5.60 (+$1 to upsize)
Truly a life saver in this scorching heat! Once I took a sip, I couldn’t stop, lol.
That coconutty fragrance was so intense. It was so nice. Milky and creamy. Not overly rich or cloyingly sweet. Best of all, it tasted all natural. The hint of peach flavour tasted mildly sweet and wasn’t artificial at all.
I didn’t request for any extra topping but there were a lot of crunchy coconut flesh bits at the bottom which really gave depth and texture to the slushie.
Highly recommend that you get it upsized at extra $1. Otherwise, it may not be enough!
Baby Sippy $2.80
And this was the free Baby Sippy, which was original coconut slushie. Tasted just as good! Probably better than having a flavoured one because it was all 100% pure coconut without anything else interfering with the original taste. It also had lots of coconut bits in it.
Final Thoughts
OYE SG Smoothie & Juice Bar is now my favourite go-to place for slushies. Within this week alone, I had bought the Original Coconut Slush three times and I’m still not sick of it, lol. Prices are also very reasonable, not expensive at all. If you love coconut slushies or are new to them, come try out OYE. With temperatures soaring past 34 degree C in Singapore these days, you’ll definitely need a coconut slush to beat the heat! Oh 椰! =)
OYE Singapore is available at Waterway Point, The Star Vista and all Xing Fu Tang SG outlets.
