Overnight oats are probably the greatest time savers in the morning. Basically they are just rolled oats soaked in milk and/or yogurt in the fridge overnight so you can just dig in right away the next morning before heading out to school or work.
I never like oats that much before though my husband can have it with milk every morning like a breakfast cereal but since I made my first bowl of overnight oats, I became a convert. In fact, the one thing that I enjoy most about making overnight oats is dressing them up with fruits and berries that I adore like kiwis, strawberries, raspberries, bananas, etc. Their bright and cheery colour combination never fail to whet up my appetite. Definitely an excellent way to start the day with!

Dressing up your oats can be quite an artistic feat and it’s all about creativity. You can use bowls, plates, drinking glasses, mason jars, etc. Toppings wise, there are fresh fruits, dried fruits, nuts, seeds, vegetables, etc to choose from. Unlimited possibilities, really. Have fun! 🙂
Hi Geri. I think that my comment got cut off by accident. Was just saying that the presentation of the oats is so artistic and beautiful. It is lovely to eat oats decorated like that. Very nice!
Thank you Chitra 🙂
