Ambience
Nestled in a serene area of Nusa Dua, within the premises of Bali Collection, Dua Kafe offers a peaceful oasis where you can escape the hustle and bustle. Stepping into the cafe, I was immediately struck by the inviting atmosphere that seamlessly blended modern minimalism with traditional Balinese decor. The interior was bathed in natural light, thanks to the high ceilings and strategically placed windows, creating a warm and calming ambience. The combination of concrete, wood, and rattan elements added a touch of cosiness, making Dua Kafe the perfect place to work, read, or simply enjoy the company of friends.

Coffee & Drinks
As a coffee enthusiast, I was thrilled to explore the extensive coffee menu at Dua Kafe. From classic options like espresso, long black, cappuccino, and latte to other choices like matcha, frappes, and turmeric jamu, they had something for every palate. They even offered refreshing drinks like whole fresh coconuts and craft beers for those seeking an alternative to coffee.
After much contemplation, I decided to order their Iced Mochacino, a delightful blend of mocha and cappuccino. The drink had a rich, robust coffee flavour complemented by the creamy, velvety texture of milk. Each sip was a delicious combination of indulgence and refreshment. J opted for the Iced Long Black, which provided a bold, strong coffee taste with a slight hint of acidity, offering a perfect pick-me-up for the day.
Food
Apart from coffee, Dua Kafe also offers a variety of savoury snacks and pastries. Here’s what we ordered:
Ham & Cheese Bagel
When the Ham & Cheese Bagel was served to our table, it was still warm, and the cheese inside was nicely melted. Ham and cheese is one of my favourite combinations, and it never disappoints. The soft and chewy bagel with a slightly crispy crust complemented the flavours of the ham and cheese perfectly.
Paris Match
The Paris Match pastry had layers of puff pastry and pastry cream, similar to the Napolean pastry or mille-feuille. Only the top layer of the pastry was crispy, while the other layers were soft. The overall taste was custardy and creamy, which we really enjoyed.
Almond Croissant
The Almond Croissant was crispy and light, with a lot of custard cream inside. It wasn’t amazing as we’ve had better ones before. However, overall it was still a decent croissant.
Service
The cafe had only two staff members. One person handled orders and made coffee, while the other served customers and cleared tables. We had to wait for a while before the staff could take our orders as he was busy making coffee. We also waited for some time before our food and drinks arrived. However, we weren’t in a rush, so it was okay for us. Despite being busy, the staff were polite and friendly.
