If you’re searching for a good dessert in downtown Orchard, you’d have to head over to the Cold Stone Creamery at Orchard Central. It is pretty crowded most of the time so be prepared to queue and wait. After all, good things are always worth a wait.If the current menu of their signature creations doesn’t stir any interest, fret not because you can DIY your very own ice cream with your favourite flavour and mix-ins.

“Ice cream frying”
I like the fact that my ice cream is only being prepared (and “fried”) upon ordering so it is served freshly made rather than pre-mixed. Of course when I say “fried”, it simply means blending the ice cream with the mix-ins on cold stone (hence the name) before serving.
Cheesecake Fantasy
This is cheesecake ice cream with Graham cracker pie crust, blueberries and strawberries. The ice cream is rich in flavour (with a good tinge of cheesecake taste) and blends marvellously with the sour-sweet taste of the berries.
Mud Pie Mojo
This is coffee ice cream with oreo cookies, peanut butter roasted almonds and fudge. The fudge pieces are just so yummy. I wish there are more! The ice cream tastes quite normal but its the findings (mix-ins) that we are more interested in as we feel like we are trying to undig treasures with each spoonful.
