I don’t really cook a lot of beef at home. I’ve never even tried grilling beef steak for dinner to date (though the husband has been asking for it for a long time) so it gives us a good excuse to go to a steakhouse for a good steak whenever we crave for it, lol. When I do stir fry or stew beef, I like to use the chuck because not only it is one of the cheapest cuts of the cow, its meat is also very flavourful. This is just another example of a simple and affordable stir fry – beef broccoli recipe – a classic in Chinese cooking and all we need are just the usual seasonings. Do note not to over-blanch the broccoli so the stems would still be crunchy. Enjoy!
