Baked Salmon with Teriyaki Sauce Recipe
Ingredients (serves 2)
Salmon fillet approx. 300g, skin-on
1 tsp olive oil
Seasoning: (combine in a bowl)
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp chinese cooking wine
2 tbsp reduced salt Japanese light soy sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven at 170 deg C with fan. Line a baking tray with aluminium foil and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear salmon fillet (skin side down) till skin is crispy and golden brown.
3. Transfer salmon to baking tray (skin side up) and bake for 8-10 minutes till salmon is cooked through.
4. In a separate sauce pan, bring the seasoning to a boil and drizzle sauce over salmon before serving.
